DESCRIPTION:Die Digital GreenTech Konferenz 2024 fand vom 12.-13. November 
 2024 in der Neuen Mälzerei in Berlin statt.\n\nAn den zwei Konferenztagen p
 räsentierten 14 Verbundprojekte der BMBF-Fördermaßnahme „Digital GreenTech 
 – Umwelttechnik trifft Digitalisierung“ ihren aktuellen Forschungsstand und
  Ideen. Dazu zählen Projekte aus den Bereichen Wasserwirtschaft, nachhaltig
 es Landmanagement, Ressourceneffizienz und Kreislaufwirtschaft. Gemeinsam m
 it der interessierten Öffentlichkeit beleuchteten diese die Einsatzpotenzia
 le digitaler Technologien für den Umweltschutz und nahmen die Besonderheite
 n in den Blick, die auftreten, wenn Umwelttechnik auf Informatik trifft. Er
 stmalig fand die Preisverleihung der Digital GreenTalents auf der Digital G
 reenTech Konferenz statt.\n\nDie Konferenz wird von der Gesellschaft für In
 formatik e.V. (GI) im Rahmen der BMBF-Fördermaßnahme „Digital GreenTech – U
 mwelttechnik trifft Digitalisierung“ organisiert.\n\n______________________

 __\n\nEnglish Version:\n\nThe Digital GreenTech Conference 2024 took place 
 from November 12-13 2024 at Neue Mälzerei in Berlin.\n\nDuring the two days
  of the conference, 14 research projects from the BMBF funding measure “Dig
 ital GreenTech - Environmental Technology Meets Digitalization” were presen
 ting their current research status and ideas. These include projects from t
 he fields of water management, sustainable land management, resource effici
 ency and the circular economy. Together with the interested public, they sh
 ed light on the potential applications of digital technologies for environm
 ental protection and take a look at the special features that arise when en
 vironmental technology meets IT. For the first time, the Digital GreenTalen
 ts award ceremony will take place at the Digital GreenTech Conference.\n\nT
 he conference is organized by the German Informatic Society as part of the 
 BMBF funding measure “Digital GreenTech—Environmental Technology Meets Digi
 talization”.
